SHOULD CHRISTIANS OBSERVE THE SABBATH ON SATURDAY OR SUNDAY?

The Sabbath is the seventh day of the week in Jewish religious law. The Old Testament shows that there should be a day of rest held weekly [Exodus 23:12] "Six days you shall do your work, but on the seventh day you shall rest;...".
Jesus establishes the "New Covenant" in [Luke 22:20]; "...this cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood."
We know that the Lord rose from the dead on the first day of the week; in Matthew 28:1]; "Now after the Sabbath,..." vs. 5, '...you seek Jesus who was crucified. (6) for He has risen..."
With the "New Covenant", the "New Church"; celebrated the "Sabbath" as the "Lord's Day".
This is shown in the New Testament, which of course is a chronicle of the teachings and life of Christ and the Church He founded.
In [Acts 20:7], "On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread,..."
[1 Corinthians 16:2]; "On the first day of the week, each of you is to put something aside...."
The Sabbath, which represented the completion of the first creation, has been replaced by Sunday which recalls the "New Creation", inaugurated by the Resurrection of Christ.
Colossians 2: 16-17: "Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath."
St. Paul is saying that it is time to let go of Saturday worship and embrace the "New Covenant" - "New Testament".
