Where did I get the name for my web site?
I wanted to name the web site after Jesus and I wanted to make a point that there is only ONE teaching from Jesus on Salvation. So, I thought to call the web site Onetruth. But, in a 'search' for the word 'Onetruth', I found hundreds of Protestant web sites that did not have the full truth. So, I had to adjust the name 'Onetruth' to be what it is now. And although the extension '.com' signifies a 'comercial' web site, my site is not a commercial one. I used the '.com' instead of '.org'; for 2 reasons. First, I am alone in this endeavor and it seemed wrong to call myself an 'organization'. Second, I know that many new people to the Internet are not aware that there are other 'endings' to web site addresses besides '.com'. They are not even aware that the extension '.org' exists. So, I chose to go with '.com'.
The name I Am Onetruth came from the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
He is:
John 8:58 Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am."
Referring to the fact that He was God.
Exodus 3:14 God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And he said, "Say this to the people of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'"
Jesus is also:
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me.
I used the term 'one' instead of the Biblical 'the' to further stress that there is a 'singular' teaching from Christ.
