| "It is not you they reject, they are rejecting me as their king." 1 Samuel 8:7 I have found, in the past, when discussing the Catholic Faith with some people, that they reject God, but they refuse to admit to this. Instead they claim that they have no problem with God, rather, their problem is with The Catholic Church. Each time this happens I feel God speaking to my heart saying; "They are rejecting Me". I personally think the people complaining, suppose that they are legitimizing their complaints by saying they have a problem with The Catholic Church. If they were to say their problem is with God then they would find themselves on tenuous ground, as no sane person would argue with God. The fact still remains that God knows they are refusing Him. So, who are they fooling? Because you have rejected the command of the LORD, he, too, has rejected you as ruler." “presumption is the crime of idolatry” Anyone who “presumes” they are going to Heaven because of a “one-time” declaration in their lives that “Jesus is Lord” is in sin. |
